GENERAL QUESTIONS
Tourists or Visitors must obtain an Iranian visa unless they come from one of the visa exempt countries or countries eligible for visa on arrival.
Citizens of the following countries can visit Iran without a tourist visa:
• Armenia 90 Days Within 180 Days
• Azerbaijan 30 Days
• Bolivia 30 Days
• Egypt 20 Days
• Georgia 45 Days
• Lebanon 30 Days
• Malaysia 15 Days
• Oman 30 Days
• Syria 90 Days Within 180 Days
• Turkey 90 Days
• Venezuela 15 Days
Normally online Iranian visa processing takes 3-5 working days. As soon as you complete payment for your tourist visa, we will submit your visa request to MFA.
Iran visa for UK, USA, and Canada Passport holders:
For US, UK and Canada passport holders, visa processing may take more time and some extra documents (including CV) is required by MFA. The CV should be sent to info@iranvisaservice.com.
From 15th March till 28th March due to Iranian new year holidays, Iranian visa processing may take longer time by MFA. Please take this period into consideration.
Iranian online visa application processing costs 25 EUR per person for all nationalities. For groups over 8 persons, we offer 1 free visa processing. Price for children, adults and infants are the same.
Please take it into considerations that visa processing fee is different from entrance fee (Stamp fee) which government (Or Iranian embassies / consular) charges each traveler based on their nationalities.

Each traveler can pick up his/her visa from Iranian embassies or consulars all around the world.
Most of the nationalities have this option to collect their visa in Iranian airports, upon their arrivals. This service is available in Isfahan International Airport (IFN), Kish International Airport (Kish Island), Mashhad International Airport (MHD), Dayrestan Airport (Qeshm Island), Shiraz International Airport (SYZ), Tabriz International Airport (TBZ) and Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKA).
Passport holders from Colombia, Somalia, USA, UK, Canada, Bangladesh, Jordan, Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan are non-eligible nationalities for Iranian airport visa.
Note: Citizens of Israel are totally banned from entry to Iran.
Iran visa services upon arrival to the airports are available in Isfahan International Airport (IFN), Kish International Airport (Kish Island), Mashhad International Airport (MHD), Dayrestan Airport (Qeshm Island), Shiraz International Airport (SYZ), Tabriz International Airport (TBZ) and Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKA).
U.S passports are totally valid to travel to Iran but they need to obtain a tourist visa before their arrival.
All US, UK, and Canada citizens should book hotels and a set English language guide (Authorized from Iranian foreign ministry and Iranian tourism ministry) before applying the visa (We will take care of this part). It’s necessary to show a full itinerary with all details to Iranian foreign ministry. The process takes around 45 days for US, UK, and Canada citizens.

Basically, anyone can apply for single or double entry tourist visa to Iran. But MFA makes the final decision about single and double entry tourist visa.
As a rule of thumb, at the moment, it’s not possible and all nationality can get only single-entry visa but you can re-apply or extend your visa after your first trip to Iran.
Iranian tourist visa is valid for 3 months and you can stay maximum 30 days. Don't forget that you’re also able to extend your visa while you are in Iran for extra 30 days.
Iranian tourist visa extensions are time-consuming and must be filed at least one week before the expiration date. Notice that a fine between 300,000 to 350,000 Rials (IRR) for each person for each day of unauthorized stay in Iran has been set.
You should fill out the online visa application form, submit the scan of passport (high quality) and a personal photo.
OTHER QUESTIONS
Process is quiet simple, 2 main steps must be done, and here are the steps:
1. You will have to obtain an Iran visa Authorization Number (Grant Notice of Iran Visa) from the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) through a Tour Operator in Iran.
2. Once you got this Grant Notice of Iran Visa, you must go to the embassy/consulate previously chosen to get your Iran Visa.

You will have to fill out a form about your personal details and your planned itinerary.
This tour operator will contact the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) on your behalf to request an Authorization Number of Iran Visa (Iran Visa Grant Notice).
The average time for getting the Grant Notice of Iran Visa is around 3-5 working days. Be careful, in this form you will have to specify in which embassy/consulate or airport you would like to pick up your Iran Visa.
In general, we estimate that it should take around 3-5 working days for your Grant Notice of Iran Visa to be issued.
Keep in mind that on Thursday, Friday and Saturday the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) is closed, and your Authorization Number of Iran Visa could be delayed because of various public holidays of the Iranian calendar.
We will send you an email once your Authorization Number of Iran Visa (Iran Visa Grant Notice) has been issued.
Once you receive an email from Iran Visa Service Group with your Authorization Number of Iran Visa, you can go to the embassy/consulate that you had previously chosen and start the second step of Iran Visa process. The documents you will have to bring differ from an embassy to another, and you should contact them before to make sure about what you really have to bring. Most of embassies will require some identity photos (women do not need wear a scarf on the picture), a photocopy of your passport identity page, an attestation of insurance for the time you will be in Iran and enough money to pay for your Iran Visa embassy fee.
You will also have to fill another form with personal information at the embassy.
If your Iran Visa application is accepted, the embassy/consulate can issue your Iran Visa in a few hours or in one or two weeks, depending on the location and the workload of the embassy/consulate.
An emergency option is often offered by embassies and consulates in order to make your Iran Visa process faster if you are in a rush.

If you want the whole process to be stress free we highly recommend you to start the process 2 months prior to your arrival date.
Iran Visa allows you to stay for 30 days, but you are able to extend your Iran Visa in Iran as well.
At max, you can hope staying for a duration of 90 days (by chance).
Once your Iran visa is issued you’ll have 3 months to enter Iran, you’re also able to stay for 30 days with your visa which can be extended. (3 months validity)

- Two identity photos (women with scarf)

You can extend your Iran Visa in any major cities of Iran (Tehran, Shiraz, Isfahan, Yazd, Mashhad and many more). You will have to go to the "Police Office of Foreign Affairs". There is no general rule as it depends where you apply this extension from. It can be done during the same day or a couple of days maximum.
